DIAGNOSING A ROTATOR CUFF INJURY
The diagnosis of the Rotator cuff injury starts with the
physical examination of the shoulder. The range of motion and muscle strength
is checked during the examination.
In addition, the following tests might also be necessary :
• MRI: MRI is done to
get the detailed pictures of rotator cuff
• X-rays: X-Rays are
taken to look at the bone damage or dislocation
• Ultrasound: It is
needed to look at the muscle damage or tear in the shoulder
