The PCL injury refers to injury to the PCL which could
be an extended stretch or a total tear. PCL or Posterior Cruciate Ligament is a
ligament within the knee. The PCL connects the thigh bone called femur to your
shin bone or tibia. The PCL is the strongest ligament in the knee and could
stretch across the back of the knee.
The PCL injuries are less common knee injuries as compared to
its fellow ligament i.e. ACL injury. The symptoms of the PCL injury might not
be noticeable initially but the condition gets worsened with time.
